Kramat Jati Market is Clean from Formalin

The City Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Agency officers, sent a mobile laboratory car to test out 37 samples of fruits and vegetables at the Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta yesterday, Tuesday (3/12). 

We do this to ascertain whether the product is feasible and safe for consumption or not

Of 37 samples, 11 out of them are fruits, ranging from melon, watermelon, and oranges. 

"While 26 other samples are vegetables, ranging from mustard greens, spinach, cucumber, cabbage, etc," expressed City Quality and Agribusiness Control Section Head, Iwan Indriyanto.

Four Markets in Central Jakarta are Free of Harmful Substances

He uttered that all of them were negative from residues of pesticides and formalin.

"We do this to ascertain whether the product is feasible and safe for consumption or not," he said.
